A message from the School Chaplain 2 August

Founder’s Day Celebration

All members of our school community are welcome to join us for a whole school service of Holy Communion to celebrate Founder’s Day on Wednesday, 7 August at 12:00pm in The Clive Berghofer Sports Centre at Glennie. We are pleased to be able to welcome Bishop Cameron and several Toowoomba clergy to join us for this service.

Bush Ministry Fund Raffle

A beautiful children’s rocking horse has been donated to raise funds for the Bush Ministry Fund. This raffle will be drawn on 17 August and tickets are available in the Junior Years reception. The rocking horse’s arrival at Glennie has been delayed and will now visit us from 12 - 16 August. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Any support you are able to provide for our churches in remote areas would be greatly appreciated with the chance to win a beautiful gift for a little person in your life.

Ribbon Day

Plans for Ribbon Day,  Wednesday 28 August are continuing with the Chapel and Donaldson House Year 12 committees. We are still looking for donations for the mega raffle. Any items suitable for teenage girls from chocolate to beauty products, gift vouchers to popcorn makers, all variety of things can be raffled off. These can be dropped off at Mrs Rollason’s or Rev Sharon’s offices. Tickets will go on sale soon! We are also welcoming donations of baked goods for the morning tea and lunch stalls on the day. Please email Mrs Susan Rollason ( if you are able to bake some treats for the girls to purchase.
