A message from the Head of Boarding - 4 April

Term 1 has come to a very busy end and there have been lots of activity in boarding. During the week we enjoyed our beautiful Easter Dinner on Monday night with Reverend Sharon. The dinner had a traditional flavoured theme that included food such as couscous, hommus, flat bread and lamb. Reverend Sharon led us in prayer and the evening was a respectful celebration enjoyed by girls and staff.

Year 7 and Year 8 had their end of term dinners this week. The Year 8's went to Sizzler and the Year 7's enjoyed an evening at Pizza Hut. It was wonderful to see the girls excited to go out with their cohort and celebrate the end of a big term. After assessment and camp the girls are definitely ready for some time at home, resting and recharging their batteries.

Tuesday night was Bingo and Pyjama night, and the girls were very enthusiastic to call out when their lucky numbers came up. The boarding committee organised this event and it was a great way to relax and enjoy some time in our boarding community after assessment block. Students were also asked to vote for Student Representative Council members for their year level and we look forward to announcing these representatives early in Term 2.

I would like to take this opportunity to extend our best wishes for a safe and happy Easter break to all our families.

Mrs Donna Grant
Head of Boarding
