To read reviews of outstanding titles browse Books Not to be Missed. Also lists books by theme and level. From the WA Dept of Ed

Magpies - The Source (AUS)
A wonderful database searchable by Author, Title, Genre, Subject. Includes books and poetry. Each entry as a critical description. The login and password are available to Glennie students from the Databases page.

The Complete Review (USA)
For each book this site tries to provide basic infor, a review, links to other reviews & relevant sites, suggestions as to similar books & basic author info.

Mostly Fiction (USA)
You can choose to list reviews by genre, author and titles. Also contains excerpts.

Book Raps
Book Raps give you opportunities to discuss books with your peers around the country via email lists. A number of 'Rap Points' are posted to direct the discussion and your role as a 'rapper' is to mail your response to list. Some Book Raps may include special events such as author and/or illustrator involvement and live chat sessions.
