The Last Blast

17 November 2017

Today our Seniors attended the Valedictory Eucharist and Valedictory Graduation with their parents this morning before taking their final charge down to the Glennie oval.

In a break from tradition and a much more environmentally friendly alternative to helium balloons, our Seniors took their final steps towards the end of their school days and the start of a new life beyond school with the inaugural “Last Blast”.

The girls ran down the hill and gave a final warcry before the confetti cannons blasted off with colourful pieces of rice paper (fully biodegradable). There were lots of happy tears and hugs as the younger girls took the opportunity to say goodbye to our Glennie Seniors of 2017.

Goodbye, good luck and go well, girls.
