Year 9 Design Technology girls were tasked to build a toy boat capable of crossing the Glennie Pool. The boat could be constructed from any materials, however, either (or both) the hull or propulsion or mounting system had to be 3D modeled and 3D printed. A battery box, batteries, and motor(s) were supplied with string to guide the boats in the pool and nullify the need for steering.
Enjoy a short video from the testing phase and see if you can pick which boat achieved the brief.
