24 March 2017
It has been an unusually quiet week in all houses with so many boarders at camps and the older girls who have remained are busy with study for exams. The Year 10 to 12 boarders have been very industrious and appreciated the tutoring provided. This has meant that little has gone on in the way of activities because of other parts of Glennie life.
The boarders are looking forward to the coming break and being with families again. In the last week of term we look forward to Miss Kate Powell's special Easter meal on Monday evening where we reflect as a community on the meaning of Easter.
Tuesday night is the last night of term and there is a relaxing dinner with pyjamas, teddy bears, bingo - chocolate frog prizes and a small gift to each boarder from the Boarding Committee. The last Tuesday of term is also Birthday Tuesday. We wish all Glennie students a happy holiday.
