The Week in Boarding

10 March 2017

We are looking forward to the Glennie Fair on the weekend and boarding remains very busy. I must admit that living on sideshow alley was not exactly on my bucket list, but it is quite interesting! Girls are also preparing for the Webber House Dinner on Friday. Sport is currently keeping many of our boarders busy plus the Catering and Boarding staff are supporting as many as forty late dinners in the evenings.

The boarders are accessing tutoring as part of their preparation for the coming exam period. We also look forward to an end of term break. The Year 6 and 7 boarders are currently learning different knots with me and developing some patience. On Thursday night Brown House had the benefit of an after dinner session on cyber safety with Mr Tim Causer. We will have chess on Friday night, craft on Saturday with Gayle Ash and due to the Fair, we will not be holding Sunday swimming.
