The Week in Boarding

27 January 2017

It has been a busy and productive week with our new boarders settling well into residential life. All boarders, former and new, had a good first day on Sunday and were excited to be here. Many boarder parents enjoyed the P&F drinks on Sunday afternoon,

Australia Day was a fairly quiet day with a lovely "grazing brunch" provided in the morning, and the pool open in the afternoon. On Saturday boarders travel to Southbank for an outing and an opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones. The Boarding Committee is preparing to entertain the younger girls on Sunday.

Mrs Kim Cohen will join the boarders for dinner on Wednesday evenings commencing in Week 2. The Year 6 and 7 Boarders will learn craft with me on Thursdays following an early dinner.

We welcome USQ Nursing student Michelle Hain to her role in Dowson House.

Mrs Val Lovell
Head of Boarding
