A Message from the Head of School

5 August 2016

Last Friday’s secondary interhouse athletics carnival and the recent Eisteddfod involvement have given Glennie girls the opportunity to show their good sportsmanship. Our carnivals are both competitive and supportive: the girls are to be commended for the way they strive for excellence without losing their ability to encourage one another. In the world of competitive music, where adjudications are often subjective as well as surprising, the girls were repeatedly disappointed, but they maintained their good humour and positive attitude. We also expect gracious acceptance of whatever sports team a girl is allocated to: attitude thus becomes a mark of character.

Mrs Wendy Ashley-Cooper
Head of School
