Congratulations to Emma Meyer who last week received a Darling Downs incentive award at the Darling Downs Sports breakfast. This is the third year in a row Emma has received an incentive award.

Ellie de Jong participated in the Queensland Schools Orienteering Championships, which comprised a sprint event, middle distance relay event, and a long distance event, in bushland around Wivenhoe Dam. She ran the second fastest time in the Junior Girls Sprint, was part of the winning Darling Downs Relay Team, and came a convincing first in the Individual Long Distance event. Ellie was the first qualifier for the Queensland Schools Orienteering Team in the junior girls’ class, to compete at the 2015 Australian Schools Orienteering Championship.
