Year 11 and 12 USQ Experience Days: Girls are invited to spend a day at USQ participating in academic taster sessions in Psychology, Engineering or Creative Arts (Music, Film Television and Radio, Theatre, Printmaking or Ceramics). This will be held on Friday 13 May.
Year 9 and 10 Careers Day at USQ: Girls have been asked to express their interest in attending this event at USQ on Thursday, 9 June 2016. The focus for this year's event is on career skills. Throughout the day, the girls can engage in hands-on sessions, take part in a campus tour and check out the interactive career market. This event is an ideal opportunity to speak with USQ academics, current students, local businesses and industry representatives about study and career experiences. Representatives from TAFE Queensland and Defence Force will also be facilitating sessions on the day.
Before expressing interest, the girls are reminded to check their academic schedules to ensure the day will not impact on their assessment and study schedules. Further information will be sent out to those girls who indicate they would like to attend.
