Head Lights

wasWith the second week of term completed, classes across the school are well into their programs of work for the term. The girls (and Kindy boys!) have been fully immersed in the life of the school, both inside and outside of the classroom. It is pleasing to see how quickly the new students have adjusted to the School.

A wonderful aspect of K-12 schools, such as Glennie, is the fact that opportunities abound for the whole school to be involved together in activities and events. This weekend sees one of those, with girls from Year 4 to Year 12, involved in the annual Music Camp at Alexandra Headlands, providing an opportunity for team (ensemble) building, preparation and rehearsal of repertoire for the busy year ahead in the Arts. At the same time, it allows senior students to support and mentor the younger girls by role modelling, and inspiring them to achieve in the years ahead.
