Head Lights

wac1Nearly 300 students graced the space at the USQ Arts theatre last Sunday, providing rich entertainment and exceptional levels of expertise. All were taking their craft seriously: there were outstanding performances at every level.

Special mention should be made of the Glennie/Grammar orchestra, which played with great focus, technical skill and feeling. Clearly they were paying their own farewell tribute to their conductor, Mr Jason Wisley, who is stepping down from that specific role, though not from his position at Glennie. Mr Wisley’s musicianship and leadership have taken the orchestra from “good” to “great” in a few short years. Bravo!
