Head Lights

devBishop Rob’s visit to Junior Years reinforced the real meaning of ‘service’. Raising funds for Disability Week, he began his wheelchair trek at Toowoomba Prep, arriving more than two hours later at Glennie. After a short catch up at Glennie Junior, he was off again to St Luke’s. In undertaking this task, Bishop Rob demonstrated that the real meaning of service is about giving of one’s ‘self’ to truly support and nurture the needs of the ‘other’, which often requires personal discomfort and hardship. We are fortunate to see many examples of service modelled at Glennie.

This weekend, 23 French Immersion students head to France, led by a group of committed and dedicated Glennie staff. It's been a year in the planning. Best wishes and safe travel.
