The Glennie Archive and Historical Collection is housed in Ollier’s Cottage at the Glennie School and is managed by a qualified archivist. The collection includes treasured items that date back to our founder Benjamin Glennie.
Glennie Old Girls play an essential role in the growth of the collection. The donation or loan of Glennie memorabilia often completes a collection which can then be put on display in Ollier’s Cottage for everyone to enjoy. If you have any items that relate to The Glennie School that is unique or that you may consider of historical interest, please contact the Archivist.
Because Glennie has grown so much since its early days, photographs are an invaluable way to build a chronological record. Glennie Old Girls can become involved in archiving this ever-increasing collection by volunteering their time to sort through records and photographs, adding names where possible and piecing together the puzzle.
Every Glennie girl has a story, come in to the Glennie Archives and Historical Collection and tell us yours. Ollier’s Cottage is open from 9:15am to 2:15pm Monday to Friday during term time.
The Historical Collection has a board on the School's Pinterest Site. Take a look and see if you can identify anyone in the pictures!
