Senior
Years
Students
at the Glennie are encouraged to pursue education not only
for
rewards, but for the personal growth and sense of achievement
that it brings. The embracing of this philosophy has resulted
in a very high proportion of our students continuing to tertiary
education.
Year
12 Outcomes
The
senior years academic curriculum is a balance between
the old and
the new. The traditional basics of education are emphasised
and enhanced by staff who are continually updating their
knowledge
of teaching methods and subject content. This has resulted
in a well balanced, liberal education which offers courses
in areas
such as Languages, Social Sciences, Technology, Mathematics,
Science, and Visual and Performing Arts.
Vocational
Education and Training is offered through school-based
traineeships as well as a certificate
II course in Hospitality.
Our leadership
model encourages and supports students to explore their potential. |
